Dr. Casey O'Hara

Dr. Casey O’Hara, PT, DPT

Casey brings a strong background in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, with a passion for helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them. Originally from Brentwood, California, his path into physical therapy was shaped by his lifelong involvement in athletics, including football and competitive powerlifting.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Chico, before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine in Florida. Following graduation, Casey was selected for an orthopedic residency in Washington, where he advanced his clinical skills and developed a deeper expertise in treating complex musculoskeletal conditions.

Over the past five years, Casey has practiced in Washington as both a physical therapist and clinic director, gaining extensive experience not only in patient care but also in mentoring and developing other clinicians. He is passionate about fostering growth within his team and helping therapists refine their skills to better serve their patients.

Clinically, Casey specializes in post-operative rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries, and return-to-sport performance. His treatment approach combines hands-on manual therapy with progressive strength training, movement retraining, and patient education. He emphasizes building resilience through proper loading, lifting mechanics, and individualized programming—ensuring patients not only recover, but return stronger and more confident.

Casey holds advanced certifications including Barbell Rehab Method (BRM), Pain-Free Performance Specialist (PPSC), Spinal Manipulation Endorsement, and is an Orthopedic Residency Graduate. He is also a Certified Clinical Instructor (CCIP), reflecting his commitment to both clinical excellence and mentorship.

Outside of the clinic, Casey enjoys staying active through strength training, hiking, camping, and paddleboarding. He has traveled extensively—including visiting six continents—and completed the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Whether in the clinic or outdoors, he brings the same energy and dedication to helping others move and perform at their best.
